Jerry Rice, widely regarded as one of the greatest wide receivers ever. He’s won three Super Bowls (XXIII, XXIV, XXIX) during his 16 years (1985 – 2000) with San Francisco. He also captured America’s attention when he competed in the 2005-2006 reality television show Dancing with the Stars, reaching the last two but losing to singer Drew Lachey and his partner.
Yesterday (December 14, 2009) Jerry was on Sports Center Monday Kickoff talking about Randy Moss and the Patriots defeat over the Panthers 20-10. Jerry had on the outfit below:
I’ve never been a fan of hunter green suits, but I guess they can work with the right shirt and tie. Unfortunately, I wasn’t fond of Jerry’s choice of tie with the suit, so I decided to give Jerry some options below:
Three different ties that I feel will complement the hunter green suit. If you’re a simple guy choose tie (1) with a white shirt. If you want a little more color choose tie (2). With tie (2) you can wear a white shirt, or if you are daring, choose a shirt the color of one of the stripes in the tie, but be very careful, if you choose incorrectly you may end up colorful which could put you on the WAIVER list. Tie (3) is classic paisley, which is very similar to the one he’s wearing, but it has small hunter green details that match the suit perfectly, with a white shirt you’re safe.
Jerry, this week you are on the BENCH, but switch your ties around and you can certainly be a STARTER!
